Privacy Policy
CogniPlan is designed as a local-first productivity app. This policy explains what data may be processed when you choose account, sync, AI, voice, calendar, reminder, or subscription features.
Information you create
CogniPlan lets you create tasks, notes, projects, habits, goals, calendar-related planning data, focus sessions, time tracking entries, and review information. By default, app data is stored on your device. If you sign in and enable sync or account features, selected app data may be processed so it can be backed up or synchronized across your devices.
Account, authentication, and sync
- When you sign in, we may process identifiers such as your account ID, name, email address, and session information.
- If you continue as a guest, your data can remain local to the device unless you later sign in or use service-based features.
- Sync is optional. Data submitted for sync may include the content needed to recreate tasks, projects, notes, and related planning records on another device.
AI, voice, and assistant features
When you use AI or voice features, relevant task or planning context, audio, or transcription-related data may be sent to service providers that process the request and return a result.
Permissions
- Calendar access is used only when you choose calendar features.
- Microphone access is used only when you choose voice input or dictation.
- Photo library access is used only when you attach images to notes.
- Location access is used only when you enable location reminders.
- Notification permission is used for reminders, focus prompts, or review notifications you enable.
Third-party services
Depending on the features you use and your platform, CogniPlan may interact with services such as Apple, Google, Facebook, Expo, RevenueCat, AI model providers, speech-to-text providers, and app store services. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies.
Tracking and advertising
CogniPlan is not designed to track you across apps or websites for advertising. If this changes, this policy and store privacy disclosures will be updated before release.
Data deletion and contact
You can delete local app data by removing the app or clearing local app data. For account deletion or sync-data deletion, visit the Delete Account page or contact support.
